Virtual CFO for food and beverage
Outlet by outlet, SKU by SKU, rupee by rupee.
For restaurants, cafes, QSR chains, cloud kitchens and packaged food brands. We bring outlet-wise P&L, food cost control and cash discipline across locations.
What we see in F&B businesses
Problems we fix every month
No P&L by outlet
Consolidated numbers hide which locations make money and which quietly lose it.
Food cost and wastage you cannot see
Without recipe costing and wastage tracking, margin leaks a little every day.
Cash pressure every week
Rent, salaries and vendors fall due on fixed dates while sales swing with the season.
Aggregator payouts that do not tie up
Delivery platform payouts net off commissions, ads and penalties, and rarely match sales without reconciliation.
Expansion without unit economics
New outlets open on optimism rather than payback, capex and break-even analysis.
Compliance across locations
FSSAI, GST, PF and ESIC across outlets and entities add up quickly.
Outlet-wise P&L
A monthly P&L for every outlet, consolidated for the business.
Food cost and wastage tracking
Recipe-level costing and wastage analysis, so margin leaks are caught early.
Cash flow forecasting
A rolling forecast that matches weekly sales against fixed commitments.
Aggregator reconciliation
Platform payouts matched to orders, commissions, ads and penalties.
New outlet economics
Capex, payback and break-even analysis before you sign the next lease.

What this looks like in practice
Business names are withheld for confidentiality. The outcomes are from actual engagements.
12 months
F&B business, Rs 60 Cr: profitable within a year
No financial structure across three outlets and weekly cash stress. We built consolidated and outlet-wise P&L, SKU and channel margins, a cash forecast and AR/AP controls.
4 stores
Multi-outlet retail, Rs 35 Cr: loss-making stores found and exited
No SKU or store-level P&L and inventory leakage going undetected. We built SKU and store profitability, inventory and wastage tracking, and KPIs for every store manager. The remaining stores improved margins.
You deal with the principal, not a junior.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with our POS and aggregator data?
Yes. We work from your POS and delivery platform reports to build outlet and SKU-level views, and tie them back to the books.
How do you decide whether an outlet should close?
We build a full outlet P&L including allocated costs, then look at the trend, the remaining lease and capex, and the cash effect of closing. In one engagement this identified four loss-making stores, which were exited.
Do you support packaged food brands as well as restaurants?
Yes. Packaged food brands get SKU and channel profitability, distributor margin control and inventory planning.
Can you help us plan a new outlet?
Yes. We model capex, ramp-up, payback and break-even, so the decision rests on numbers rather than optimism.
